Pioneering Surgeons put Patients back in Focus
- Challenge: Communicate the range of vision enhancement procedures available to Australians to reduce their reliance on glasses and the ability of surgeons at the Vision Eye Institute to match specific procedures to the right patients based on their individual circumstances.
- Strategy: Ethical Strategies advised Vision Eye Institute to identify advances in technology and through their patients tell the very personal story of vision improvement. We worked with four leading surgeons to demonstrate the availability and impact of vision correction surgery in two key markets. Television and print media outlets were provided exclusive access to Vision’s operating theatres, doctors and patients.
- Results: The company was forced to increase its call centre capability to deal with the increase in requests for information regarding vision enhancement procedures.
